She currently owns and competes with her black Labrador Retriever, Crash, and her Belgian Malinois, Cricket, two very high energy, high drive working dogs!
Sarah has been a successful professional dog trainer since the age of 19. She has always been the youngest in her field, but despite her age difference, has excelled as a trainer.
Sarah has worked as a horse trainer and horse riding instructor for two different children's camps, a dog trainer for petsmart, a behavior and training educator for the San Diego Humane Society, interned as a marine mammal trainer for dolphin quest in Hawaii, and interned with the San Diego Navy's marine mammal program.
If you want diversity Sarah is your trainer, she has trained pet dogs for rally, agility, obedience, dock diving, flyball, and frisbee. She has even trained fish, stingrays, dolphins, rats, and sea lions.
Sarah is a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and is an International Marine Mammal Trainers member (IMATA).
She is Canine First Aid certified through the San Diego Humane Society and completed ICS 100: Intermediate ICS Training Course for Animal Welfare Responders, presented by Willdan Homeland Solutions
She has been featured on NBC news many times where she has helped pet parents with common training problems and KUSI news where she has done demos with her own dogs . Sarah has also done several event appearances, including an Animal Planet event and several mall appearances.
